100th Birthday Celebration
Ruth Danjou, formally of Salem, Massachusetts and Ludlow, Vermont, and now of Winter Springs, Florida celebrated her 100th birthday at Bianco's Mona Lisa Restaurant in Longwood, Florida on Saturday, November 12, 2011. It was given by her son Jeffrey Danjou and his wife Andrea with whom Ruth is now residing.

Charles and Carole Lundrigan celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on November 13, 2011. Family and close friends held a surprise dinner party for them to celebrate this milestone event.

Since 1965, Mr. Lundrigan (Charlie) is the owner and CEO of Lundy's Ornamental Iron, Lynn, MA where he ("Lundy") has remained a leader in the ironworks industry, staffing a talented group of blacksmiths, iron fabricators and producing top quality drapery and a wide variety of custom wrought iron hardware. Charlie enjoys playing golf, dining among friends and loves to spoil his grandchildren. -

James J. McCann, Ph.D and Christina M. (Kennedy) McCann of Danvers, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family. Their children hosted a reception in their honor at the Danversport Yacht Club. A Mass of Thanksgiving followed at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Danvers, celebrated by their lifelong friend, Most Rev. John B. McCormack, Bishop of Manchester, N.H.

Catherine "Dolly" (Caputo) and Joseph S. Tavella Jr., of Salem, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 15 at Angelica's in Middleton. They were married on May 6, 1951 at Star of the Sea Church in East Boston.

Adelaide Gibbs recently turned 100 years old on Friday, July 15, 2011.

She was born in 1911 in Lewiston, Maine. She attended high school in Bethel, Maine, graduating in 1929. After high school, she followed a teaching career where she taught in one of the few remaining one-room school houses in rural Maine, teaching children in all different grades. The school was kept warm only by a pot belly wood stove. She also worked at a resort camp in Maine for the rich and famous. -

Louise (Kimball) and Omer recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner at their son, Jeffery's home in Lynn.

Marguerite (L'Heureux) and Conrad Desjardins of North Woodstock, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at St. Joseph's Church in Lincoln, N.H. They renewed their vows, and a reception with family and friends followed at the Clement Room of the Woodstock Inn, with a sit-down meal for approximately 60 friends and family from Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Hope and Frank Nerden
On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 2010, Frank and Hope Nerden of 47 Nichols St. celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, and on Dec. 4, there was a celebration party held at the Village Green in Danvers. Among the guests were their children, Tim, Kathy, Mike, Kevin, Jamie, and Terry with their families, as well as their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were also joined by more than a hundred of their closest and dearest friends, as well as numerous members of their family and extended family
