Marquerite and Conrad Desjardins

Marguerite (L'Heureux) and Conrad Desjardins of North Woodstock, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at St. Joseph's Church in Lincoln, N.H. They renewed their vows, and a reception with family and friends followed at the Clement Room of the Woodstock Inn, with a sit-down meal for approximately 60 friends and family from Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Their children include: Philip Desjardins of Seabrook, N.H., Charles Desjardins and wife Joanne of Myrtle Beach, S.C., George Desjardins and wife Marybeth of Peabody, Andre Desjardins and wife Faith of North Woodstock, N.H. There are eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Marguerite and Conrad are both natives of Salem, Mass. Marguerite is retired from Devereux Nursing Home. Conrad is retired from GE.

Both Marguerite and Conrad attended and graduated from St. Joseph's School in Salem.

Love, faith, and deep spiritual values guided their lives and marriage.

    Ruth Danjou, formally of Salem, Massachusetts and Ludlow, Vermont, and now of Winter Springs, Florida celebrated her 100th birthday at Bianco's Mona Lisa Restaurant in Longwood, Florida on Saturday, November 12, 2011. It was given by her son Jeffrey Danjou and his wife Andrea with whom Ruth is now residing.

    Charles and Carole Lundrigan celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on November 13, 2011. Family and close friends held a surprise dinner party for them to celebrate this milestone event.
    Since 1965, Mr. Lundrigan (Charlie) is the owner and CEO of Lundy's Ornamental Iron, Lynn, MA where he ("Lundy") has remained a leader in the ironworks industry, staffing a talented group of blacksmiths, iron fabricators and producing top quality drapery and a wide variety of custom wrought iron hardware. Charlie enjoys playing golf, dining among friends and loves to spoil his grandchildren.

    Sixty years ago on November 25, 1951 Louie and Teresa (Malionek) Jaworski were united in marriage at St. John the Babtist (Polish) Church in Salem, MA.
    Celebrating with them are their three lovely children Pam and Paul Thompson, Paula Remillard, Jim and Melissa Jaworski and seven beautiful grandchildren, Michelle, Aleah, Austin, Rhiannan, Kelsey, Sarah and Nichole.

    Adelaide Gibbs recently turned 100 years old on Friday, July 15, 2011.
    She was born in 1911 in Lewiston, Maine. She attended high school in Bethel, Maine, graduating in 1929. After high school, she followed a teaching career where she taught in one of the few remaining one-room school houses in rural Maine, teaching children in all different grades. The school was kept warm only by a pot belly wood stove. She also worked at a resort camp in Maine for the rich and famous.
