Ruth Danjou, formally of Salem, Massachusetts and Ludlow, Vermont, and now of Winter Springs, Florida celebrated her 100th birthday at Bianco's Mona Lisa Restaurant in Longwood, Florida on Saturday, November 12, 2011. It was given by her son Jeffrey Danjou and his wife Andrea with whom Ruth is now residing.
Attending were her grandsons Scott Danjou and his wife Treeva, Shawn Danjou, and Jason Danjou and his fiancee Tiffany, and Ruth's two great-grandchildren Kennedy and Kaleb Danjou. Also in attendance were her daughter-in-law's mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ferrant of Winter Park, Florida.
She was surprised by her sister Marion Hodge and husband Raymond of Peabody, Massachusetts, her nieces Carol Osborne and her husband George of Minden, Nevada, Nancy Lynch and her husband Edward of Ipswich, Massachusetts and two grandnieces Leigh-Ann Osborne of Carson City, Nevada and Briana Lynch of Boston, Massachusetts when they arrived to join in the celebration. Also attending were friends and church members. This was a very memorable occasion because it was the first time in many years that the whole family was able to be together.
