Guinea pig

JIM PATTEN/Staff Photo. Alicia is a one-year-old female American smooth coat guinea pig. She is small but is very, very sweet. She loves to be held. Her favorite vegetables are red peppers and romaine lettuce. She would do best in a home where she is the only guinea pig but would probably bond well with a younger guinea pig later on.She has been at the shelter since March. Alicia is one of many pets available for adoption at the MSPCA shelter at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway in Methuen. The shelter is open Tuesday and Thursday from 12 - 6 p.m. Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. It is closed on Monday.
