Kevin Norton, president and CEO of Northeast Behavioral Health, was awarded North Shore United Way’s 2012 Live United Leadership Award in honor of his outstanding leadership, commitment and values in supporting a nonprofit organization on the North Shore, and embodiment of Live United’s community spirit. This is the first year that the awards committee has recognized a leader from the mental health and addiction treatment field. Two years ago, Norton merged two individual nonprofits — CAB Health and Recovery Services Inc. and Health and Education Services — to create Northeast Behavioral Health, a multiservice agency with one-stop mental health and addiction services.
