An author and the producer of an award-winning film, "Invisible Seas," she is senior adviser and chairman emeritus at Canon U.S. Life Sciences and president and CEO of CosmosID Inc.

Ilia Stacey has been named executive director of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce. Stacey comes to the chamber following nine years as executive director at My Brother's Table, a nonprofit soup kitchen in Lynn.

Jon Firger, chief executive of Jewish Family Service of the North Shore in Salem, is resigning from his position at the agency Sept. 3 to assume the role of executive director of the Newton Community Service Center in Newton.

Dolores Mueller has been appointed wound ostomy continence nurse with Northeast HomeCare, Beverly and Addison Gilbert hospitals' Medicare-certified home care agency. Mueller has more than 35 years of nursing experience and is an adjunct professor of nursing at Salem State College.

Steven Scapicchio has joined the architectural staff at Olson Lewis Dioli & Doktor Architects, which has offices in Ipswich and Manchester-by-the-Sea.

Giving

TD Bank has launched a coin collection to aid victims of the recent fire on Mill Street in Beverly. The bank is encouraging people who have spare change to stop by any TD Bank in Beverly, Salem or Peabody, use the bank's free Penny Arcade coin-counting machines, and then donate all or a portion of the cash directly to the Coins for Caring campaign. TD Bank will put the money in the Mill Street Fire Relief fund for the seven families affected by the fire.
