---- — PEABODY — Fashionable maternity clothes, “colossal” cupcakes and Sleep Number beds are now on sale at the Northshore Mall.

Stores coming soon include The Art of Shaving, Zumiez and an updated Build-A-Bear Workshop.

“We are always very excited to introduce new stores to our shoppers, so we can continue to offer them the best variety to choose from,” said Lauren Dalis, marketing director. “There is something for everyone.”

Crumbs Bake Shop, which first opened its doors in 2003 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, offers 50 varieties of its “signature-size” cupcakes baked fresh daily. One of the company’s slogans is “They’re Freakin’ Huge.”

The shop’s kiosk is located outside the Gap.

After a humongous cupcake, it might be time for a nap.

Sleep Number by Select Comfort is now open on the mall’s exterior next to Joe’s American Bar & Grill.

“Sleep Number provides innovative products designed to help sleep at one’s very best,” according to a press release from the mall.

Pregnant? Motherhood Maternity, located in the lower level in the Nordstrom wing, might be the store for you. It offers affordable, fashionable maternity clothes for expectant mothers to “look and feel good.”

Zumiez, which “provides cutting-edge clothing, footwear, accessories, DVDs, and hard goods for skate and snow for men, women and children with active lifestyles,” will open in June near guest services.

For the men, The Art of Shaving will open in May. The store, which “provides a variety of skin and facial products for men to achieve the perfect shave,” will be across from Starbucks.

Lastly, the Build-A-Bear Workshop is on the move and will reopen with a new digital concept. The new store will open across from the mall’s children’s play area.

Dalis said that besides the stores under construction, there are no empty storefronts at the mall.

“The mall right now is almost at full occupancy,” she said.

She said there has been a positive response to all the new stores.

“Customers are always excited to see something new,” Dalis said.
