---- — John Colucci of Wenham has been named to the North Shore Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Colucci is managing director of McLane Law Firm’s TradeCenter 128 office in Woburn and a member of the firm’s corporate and tax departments. He also serves on the board of trustees at Montserrat College of Art and is a former president and director of the Greater Beverly YMCA and the North Shore Technology Council. He has a law degree from Suffolk University.

John Duff, a resident of Ipswich, was promoted to the role of dean of enrollment at North Shore Community College. Previously, he was director of enrollment and records for student and enrollment services. Duff, who has worked at the college nearly 20 years, replaces Joanne Light, who retired after 28 years at NSCC. Duff has a master’s degree in critical and creative thinking from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a bachelor’s degree in English from Ithaca College.

Dr. Joshua Berkowitz has joined Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates’ Medford practice as the new site medical director. Berkowitz is board certified in internal medicine and received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed an internship and residency at Lahey Clinic. Prior to joining Harvard Vanguard, Berkowitz served as the internal medicine department chair at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody.

Dr. Howard Grant, president and chief executive officer of Lahey Health, has been recognized with the Arthritis Foundation’s Dr. John I. Sandson Lifetime Achievement Award for showing dedication to improving the welfare of those living with arthritis. Locally, Lahey Health includes Lahey Medical Center, Peabody; Beverly Hospital; and Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers.

Paul Horovitz has been named head of school at Harborlight-Stoneridge Montessori School in Beverly. Currently the head of school at Litchfield Montessori in Northfield, Conn., Horovitz will succeed interim Head of School David Hursty in June. Horovitz has a bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College and a law degree from Boston University. He has also served as facilitator of a master planning process for The Trustees of Reservation’s Castle Hill property in Ipswich.

Ipswich firefighter Kendall Buhl has graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s training program and has resumed work for the Ipswich Fire Department. Buhl has met national standards of National Fire Protection Association 1001 and is certified to the level of Firefighter I and II, and Hazardous Materials First Responder Operational Level by the Massachusetts Fire Training Council.
