Fabyan had more than $38 million in sales and assisted 21 sets of buyers and sellers in their transactions in 2011.

Mark Robbins of Peabody, founder of REM Flooring, was appointed to Bridgewell's board of directors for a three-year term. Robbins was previously chairman of the board of Aviv Centers for Living and also served on the board of the North Shore advisory committee of the Anti-Defamation League. Bridgewell, a private, nonprofit organization based in Lynnfield, helps individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.

Maria Lekkakos, owner of M. Lekkakos, a hair salon, spa and boutique in Wenham, was selected as a member of Mary Kay's new Influencer Panel, to share her knowledge of Mary Kay's new cosmetics line with the public. Lekkakos is an aesthetician and makeup artist.

Sheri Ayers Trocchi of Danvers has joined the real estate office of J Barrett & Company in Beverly Farms. Trocchi has degrees from Babson College and Northeastern University and is active locally in the Massachusetts Special Olympics, Danvers Garden Club and Youth Lacrosse.

Dr. Meng-Chieh Lee has joined the dental practice of Dr. David Schneider at the Cummings Center in Beverly. Lee graduated from Columbia University and pursued further specialized training in prosthodontics at Harvard University.

The Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association honored Benoit Brodeur Jr. of Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home in Peabody for his 40 years of personal licensure in the funeral business. Brodeur was honored at the association's annual appreciation night banquet. The association represents nearly 500 funeral establishments in the state.

Professor William Young and Endicott College received a sabbatical grant from the Louisville Institute for Young's project titled "Listening, Religion and Democracy." The yearlong project will study religious communities in the Boston area, exploring the multiple forms of listening involved in their religious practice, and how these forms of listening help to cultivate civic and political engagement. Young is a Beverly resident.

Siobhan Phelan of Swampscott, owner of Rags to Riches and All Chic Boutique in Marblehead, was named to the Friends of Aviv board of directors. Over the past 18 years, Phelan has donated clothing to Aviv's various fundraisers. She is also a Realtor with Coldwell Banker and a member of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce's retail committee, and runs the clothing bank for Lynn City Mission. Friends of Aviv is a volunteer organization that supports Aviv Centers for Living, which runs assisted living and other housing programs for senior citizens.

Peabody resident Elizabeth Duran has joined Elder Service Plan of the North Shore at the PACE Adult Day Health Center in Lynn. Duran's 13 years of experience in the health care field includes serving as a certified pharmacy technician and certified nursing assistant. Duran earned an associate degree in science in medical office administration from Marian Court College.

C.P. Berry Homes of Topsfield received three awards at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla. Berry's English Commons at Topsfield, a condominium complex, was awarded the Best New Community Gold Award by Professional Builder magazine and the Best Green Community Silver Award and Best For-Sale Active Adult Community Silver Award by the National Association of Home Builders. C.P. Berry Homes is a family-owned and operated company.

Marblehead Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new member, Duggan Law Offices. The ceremony was held at The Landing Restaurant and was combined with a "Friday at Five" Business After Hours networking event. Attorney Mike Duggan and daughter Katherine welcomed attendees.

Honda North, a member of the International Cars Ltd. family of dealerships in Danvers, is a recipient of the President's Award for 2011. The annual award is presented to top-ranking Honda dealerships across the country, based on their achievement of excellence in all areas of operation. The award is Honda's highest dealership honor, and this is the fifth time Honda North has earned the award.

Beverly Cooperative Bank's sponsorship of the 35th Anniversary Performance of Le Grand David and His Own Spectacular Magic Company helped raise $7,500 for the Pioneering Healthier Communities initiative, which aims to promote healthy communities through the combined efforts of the Greater Beverly YMCA, Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, North Shore United Way and Beverly Hospital/Northeast Health System.
