Dan Cutler of South Hamilton has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as a sales associate in the Manchester-by-the-Sea office. Most recently, Cutler served as a portfolio officer for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

Moira McNamara James of Marblehead has been appointed chairwoman of Landmark School’s board of trustees. James succeeds Boxford resident Nicholas Lopardo, who served as chairman for 19 years. James has served on the Board of Trustees for 15 years at her alma mater, Wesleyan University, after which she was elected Trustee Emerita. She has also served on the board of directors of the Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities in Washington, D.C., for 10 years. She is a founding member of The Brain Tumor Society, now the National Brain Tumor Society, and is a 17-time rider of the Pan Mass Challenge. Landmark is a private day and boarding school in Beverly.

Lauren Gawlik has been promoted to the role of account director at King Fish Media, a marketing agency in Salem. In her new role, Gawlik will lead the account team, manage workflow, assign project teams, and support customer satisfaction.

Alexis DeVilling has joined King Fish Media as the social media manager. Prior to joining the agency, DeVilling served as a territory account manager for Global Knowledge. She graduated with a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Meredith Yoder has been appointed director of marketing analytics King Fish Media and will serve in a consulting role. Most recently, Yoder was the vice president/director of strategy and analysis for Digitas, and the customer and database manager for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Keurig.

Milestones

Mayor Kim Driscoll and the city of Salem were recognized with the Larry D. Meehan Award at the 26th annual Massachusetts Governor’s Conference on Travel & Tourism. Given in honor of Larry Meehan, the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau vice president of media relations and tourism, the awards pay homage to those who have made major contributions to the expansion and vitality of the state’s tourism industry. Mayor Driscoll and the city of Salem were recognized for their efforts in repositioning the city to attract a broader base of visitors, as well as niche markets.

Michael Harrington of Beverly has been named Regional Developer of the Year by The Entrepreneur’s Source, North America’s largest franchise coaching network. Harrington, who operates a franchise at 100 Cummings Center in Beverly, was honored for excellence in recruiting and team performance. Harrington is a former president of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce and a member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and the Beverly Rotary Club.
