Multi-Chamber Business Expo and Job Fair, 4 to 8 p.m., Grand Ballroom, Holiday Inn Boston-Peabody, 1 Newbury St., Peabody. Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce and the Commerce Network will host the annual Business Expo from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. New this year is a job fair, sponsored by North Shore Career Center, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the adjacent Centennial Ballroom. The expo, job fair and cocktail hour provide exhibitors and attendees an opportunity to build relationships while sharing and networking face to face. How to Improve Your People Skills for Greater Success, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Enterprise Center, Salem State University, 121 Loring Ave., Salem. All businesses are based on relationships in one way or another, whether interacting with customers, employees, suppliers or lenders. Interactive workshop offers strategies to improve people skills and be a more effective communicator and leader. Executive Breakfast Forum, 7:15 to 9 a.m., DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 50 Ferncroft Road, Danvers. The North Shore Chamber of Commerce forum will feature a talk by Massachusetts State Auditor Suzanne Bump.
