Beverly native Daniel Rich joined Marciano Associates Tax Preparation in Beverly. He is also working with the C.R. Lyons Funeral Home in Danvers. Rich began his career as an IRS agent and has held positions with the U.S. Small Business Administration and Danvers Savings Bank.

Susan Trodden Gramolini joined IPC Medical Corp. in Danvers as the director of corporate sales. Gramolini was formerly the operations manager and marketing director at Belmont Dental Group. Her experience includes a 20-year tenure with the Boston Celtics, director of marketing and public relations for Long's Jewelers, and executive director of the Red Auerbach Youth Foundation. IPC Medical Corp. develops, manufactures and markets products and services for home care and clinics outside the hospital environment.

Judy and John Toner, residents of Swampscott and Marblehead, had the highest sales volume and number of transactions for Sagan Realtors in 2011. Judy holds various industry designations that are held by less than 2 percent of Realtors nationwide. John is a Realtor and certified buyer representative. The Toners have received several awards within the Realty Guild, a collection of independently owned offices throughout Massachusetts, and have participated in fundraising for Northeast Arc, Daffodil Days, Toys for Tots and the North Shore Cancer Walk.

David Danis, a Newbury resident and a partner at North Shore Pediatrics in Danvers and member of the Beverly Hospital medical staff, was named the eighth recipient of Northeast Health System's Board of Trustees Philip D. Herrick Award, presented yearly at the NHS annual meeting to honor Herrick's characteristics, accomplishments, commitment and dedication. Danis completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his training at Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.

At its 41st annual meeting, the Massachusetts Council for Home Care Aid Services saluted North Shore Elder Service case managers Melissa Daly and Barbara Quinn. Daly and Quinn were among the nominees for the Cathe Madden Award, which is given to case managers who demonstrate extraordinary enthusiasm, innovation and commitment to their job. Danvers-based North Shore Elder Services provides services to older adults in Peabody, Danvers, Salem, Marblehead and Middleton.

The selection committee of the Emerging Leaders Program of the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston accepted the following local fellows to participate in the 2012 cohort of the Emerging Leaders Program: Denise Baron-Herrara of Salem, an employee of Burtons Grill; Alexandra Nova of Salem, employee of State Street Corp.; and Michelle Ridgley of Peabody, employee of Medtronic. The Emerging Leaders Program offers executive leadership development that engages individuals across sector, gender, race and ethnicity in an experiential collaborative, skill-building program, which focuses on several critical skills.

Bonnie Hurd Smith of History Smiths in Ipswich completed two business histories, one for Children's Friend and Family Services in Salem for its 175th anniversary in 2012, and the other for the Franklin Square House Foundation in Boston for its 100th anniversary. Smith's work will be incorporated into their websites and marketing materials. Both organizations will also publish an anniversary book.
