SALEM — Local businesswomen packed the ballroom at the Hawthorne Hotel last week for the eighth annual Million Dollar Women Symposium. Organized by the Enterprise Center at Salem State University and sponsored by Beverly Cooperative Bank, it began with a keynote address by Salem News Publisher Karen Andreas, followed by a panel discussion featuring Karen Bressler, chairman of Reinhart Agar Boston Advisory Board; Julie Livingston, president and CEO of Marblehead Bank; Linda Moulton, CEO of Ceralta Technologies; Mary Puma, chairman and CEO of Axcelis Technologies; and Carole Wedge, president of Shepley Bulfinch.
