Salem resident Sarah Harrington has joined J. Barrett & Company as a real estate agent in the firm’s Marblehead office. Harrington, an agent for more than 14 years, holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College and a Master in Business Administration from Babson College.
Windover Construction, a builder of commercial projects for institutional and corporate clients, announced the following new hires:
Beverly resident Rhiannon Casey has been named executive assistant. She holds a degree in English from UMass Dartmouth.
Middleton resident Dennis Conlon has joined Windover’s Field Support team, assisting on various job sites. Prior to joining Windover, Conlon ran his own property maintenance and landscaping business for 19 years.
Marblehead resident Sara Husted has also been named executive assistant. She holds a degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham.
Topsfield resident Rick Medeiros has been named senior estimator. Prior to joining Windover, Medeiros spent 16 years with Berry, a division of Suffolk Construction, where he worked on numerous large-scale, complex urban assignments. Medeiros holds a degree in construction engineering from UMass Dartmouth.
Swampscott resident Peggy McHugh has been promoted to the role of chief operating officer and general manager of outplacement for ClearRock, a Boston-based executive coaching and outplacement firm. McHugh will manage and direct outplacement programs and initiatives for ClearRock while continuing to serve as the firm’s chief operating officer. McHugh has been an employee at ClearRock for 10 years.
Cranney Home Services donated $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity North Shore as part of the company’s Cranney Cares for the Community initiative in June. Brian Cranney, owner of Cranney Home Services, presented the check to Don Preston, president of Habitat for Humanity North Shore. Each month, a nominated nonprofit organization receives a $1,000 donation from Cranney Home Services.
