Lahey Health Behavioral Services’ Student Assistance Program in Peabody has been awarded a $129,750 grant from the 2013 North Shore United Way’s Community Impact Grants. The Student Assistance Program provides counselors, student support and intervention services in five school districts, including Beverly, Hamilton, Wenham and Ipswich.
The School of Visual and Performing Arts at Endicott College in Beverly is one of six institutions that have been granted membership to the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, a national accrediting agency for art and design and related disciplines. Five years have passed from beginning the application process with the first internal drafts to the recent granting of membership, says Visual and Performing Arts Dean Mark Towner about the NASAD application process.
