Phil Holberton of Danvers recently launched a new Vistage Group in Boston. The chief executive peer advisory group meets regularly to discuss business issues, share expertise and provide confidential help to members, and is part of a national organization based in San Diego. Holberton, a certified public accountant, has more than 40 years of experience as an executive, including as a chief financial officer and chief executive officer.
Kristen Duggan has been named executive director of the Residence at Riverbend, a new senior community in Ipswich that will have 75 apartments, including independent and assisted living and memory care. The project is being developed and will be operated by LCB Senior Living of Norwood. Duggan has more than 12 years’ experience in the senior housing industry, and previously worked with Hallkean Management and Atria in Newton.
Fay Salt has been named vice president of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Beverly. Salt has a long career in business management and real estate, and has worked in Beverly for close to 10 years. She was also recognized with the Diamond Society award, given to the top 8 percent of approximately 85,000 sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system.
Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation recently awarded a grant of $15,000 to Northeast Arc, which helps people with disabilities and their families. It will help fund the construction of three new art studio/classroom spaces at the ArcWorks Community Art Center in Peabody.
The Cummings Foundation has donated $100,000 to Children’s Friend and Family Services to provide services for teens who attend the Salem Cyberspace program and the College Success Program of Cyberspace. The grant will allow Children’s Friend and Family Services to provide individual counseling and group therapy to teens dealing with depression and anxiety.
Windover Construction recently created a new full-service branch of the Institution for Savings within a historic, 1809 building in downtown Topsfield. The design team incorporated timbers from the original structure into the new design to create a cathedral ceiling. A drive-thru and ATM were also added.
