Caesars Resort at Suffolk Downs North Shore Vendor Forum, 7 to 9 p.m., Hawthorne Hotel, 18 Washington Square W., Salem. Suffolk Downs and Caesars Entertainment have partnered in hopes of building a $1 billion resort casino in Greater Boston. The resort is expected to spend approximately $150 million annually on goods and services from local and regional businesses. Vendor forum for North Shore businesses will provide information on becoming part of the casino’s local business program. Representatives on hand from Caesars’ sourcing and purchasing staff and partners from Caesars properties in other locations.

Thursday, Sept. 12

North Shore Networking Association meeting, 8 a.m., Beverly Cooperative Bank, Community Room, 73 Lafayette St., Salem. The association’s Salem chapter invites local business people interested in growing their businesses to join a business networking group that meets once a week.
