Greg Hochmuth has been hired by Hancock Associates of Danvers as the company's environmental manager and sanitary designer. Hochmuth is a wetland scientist, registered sanitarian and soil evaluator in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with more than 13 years of experience. He will oversee wetland and soils projects for Hancock's offices in Danvers, Marlborough, Chelmsford and Salem, N.H.

Sandy Doneski, associate professor of music and director of graduate programs in music education at Gordon College, will be honored as the 2012 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award by the Massachusetts Music Educators Association at its annual statewide conference in Boston on March 1. The award will recognize Doneski's many contributions to music education, including founding the Gordon College Children's Choir. Doneski, who lives in Waltham, is a graduate of Gordon College and earned a Ph.D. in music education from the University of Hartford.

Christopher Macomber of Danvers has been appointed Bank of America's small-business banker for Peabody, Danvers and Beverly, providing personalized attention to small-business owners. Macomber comes to Bank of America from Citibank and brings several years' experience working with small businesses.

Preston Bradford of Hamilton was recently appointed to the Endicott College board of trustees. Bradford is senior vice president at professional services company Sapient. Previously, he held senior sales, marketing and information technology positions during his 14-year tenure with Sprint (currently Sprint Nextel). He has a bachelor's degree in management science from Duke University.

Carlos Gonzalez Jr. has been named president of Relevant Data Corp., which is headquartered in Danvers and has technology and software operations in Seattle. He will continue to work out of Seattle, retaining his responsibilities as chief technology officer. He is also an adjunct professor of mechanical engineering at Seattle University. Relevant Data develops search technology to access and monitor data on the Internet.

Helen Lanagan of Burlington was recently promoted to associate executive director at Brooksby Village. Lanagan opened Brooksby Village's visiting nurse services in 2005 and has also served as director of resident life and director of operations.
