Fran Dichner, president and CEO of R&L Associates in Beverly and the Aries Group, was a panelist at the seventh Multicultural Conference called “Global Horizons: Collaboration, Cooperation, Connections: Leading The Change, Advocating For Diversity, Countering The Naysayers,” which took place earlier this month. Dichner addressed the issue of workplaces lacking diversity.

Mary Sarris, executive director of the North Shore Workforce Investment Board, has been honored with the 2013 Community Advocacy Award by Eastern Bank. The award recognizes people who have given their time and talent to address a vital need in their community. Sarris was honored for her efforts in the area of workforce development training. Prior to joining the Workforce Investment Board, Sarris was executive director of the Lynn Business/Education Foundation, a private, nonprofit fund designed to be a vehicle for business involvement in the Lynn schools.
Beverly resident Rachel Montanaro has joined the faculty at Clark School in Danvers as the elementary school art teacher. Kellie Tandilyan of Danvers has been hired as the new elementary school Latin teacher. Clark School is a private, independent K-12 school.
Sean Condon of Wenham has been named a member of the 2012-2013 President’s Council of New York Life. Members of the President’s Council are among the top 8 percent of New York Life’s sales force. Condon is also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He has bachelor’s degrees from Buffalo State and Northeastern University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. He is a Hamilton Wenham School Committee member.
Tryko Partners, a private equity real estate firm based in Brick, N.J., has acquired the former Radius Healthcare Center, a 159-bed skilled nursing facility at 56 Liberty St. in Danvers. The firm has launched a major renovation and rebranding of the property, which has been named Brentwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Stephanie Vanderbilt of Coastal Windows & Exteriors in Beverly, has donated a GAF Timberline HD roof, which was installed by Master Elite roofing contractors, and siding materials to Habitat for Humanity. It will be used at Habitat’s recently acquired three-family home at 6 Grover St. in Lynn. Coastal Windows & Exteriors’ donations to Habitat totaled nearly $15,000.
