Beverly resident Robert Faulkner has joined the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Manchester as a sales associate.


Diane Larson, owner and manager of Larson’s Service, Inc. in Peabody, was named the Female Service Shop Owner of the Year by the Car Care Council Women’s Board Career Leadership Committee. The designation honors a woman in the automotive service industry who has a record of excellence. Larson has been in the industry for more than 25 years and became the sole owner of Larson’s Service in 2008.


Arianna Knapp will step down from her position as North Shore Music Theatre’s artistic director effective Dec. 31. After working with the Music Theatre on and off for over 25 years, Knapp rejoined the company in 2011 as artistic director. In addition to introducing new creative and performing talent to work at the theatre, Knapp brought new ideas to the annual production of “A Christmas Carol,” which she is directing again this season.


Carrie Sullivan has joined Rhino Public Relations in Hamilton as an account manager. Most recently, Sullivan served as press secretary and spokeswoman for the Massachusetts School Building Authority. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University and a master’s of social work in community organization, public policy and administration from Boston College.


Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody has received two Excellence in Action Awards from My InnerView by National Research Corporation in recognition of the nonprofit organization’s customer and employee satisfaction. Pilgrim was one of 23 long-term care and senior living organizations in Massachusetts to win awards for satisfaction excellence.


Communications, Ink, a marketing and branding company in Beverly, received a gold medal award in the 2013 Marcom Awards Competition, which recognizes creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. The company was awarded two gold statuettes for its client work on behalf of Atlas Placement Advisors and Homebase Abroad.


Lahey Medical Center, Peabody, formerly Lahey Clinic Medical Center, North Shore, renamed its One Essex Center Drive campus with the installation of new signage. The name change reflects the facility’s role as part of Lahey Health, which was established following the affiliation between the former Lahey Clinic and the former Northeast Health System. Lahey Health includes Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington; Lahey Medical Center, Peabody; Lahey Outpatient Center, Lexington; Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester; Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers; Lahey Health Behavioral Services and Lahey Health Senior Care.



The Verizon Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Salem YMCA to support STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) initiatives in its after-school program. The grant will cover the cost of implementing a solar-powered car project that will educate kids on the importance of renewable energy and introduce them to solar energy, aerodynamics, engineering and design principles.
