Joe Krivickas, president and CEO of SmartBear Software, was recently named a semifinalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 Awards in New England. Semifinalists were selected by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 26, at the Renaissance Waterfront in Boston.


Sally Wilson, principal of Wilson Kelsey Design in Salem, was recently honored by The New England Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers with an Excellence in Design Award. With her husband, John Kelsey, Wilson founded Wilson Kelsey Design, which has received a number of awards, including the Bulfinch Award for Best Residential Interior Design and Interior Renovation.


Edward Cahill, J.D., an agent for New York Life Insurance Co. in Beverly, has earned membership in the Million Dollar Round Table for 2013. Million Dollar Round Table is an international, independent association of 35,000 life insurance and financial services professionals from 78 nations and territories. Cahill, who is also a financial adviser with Eagle Strategies LLC, a registered investment adviser and indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co., is a 10-year qualifying and life Million Dollar Roundtable member.


Carl Soderland, M.D., M.P.H., of Ipswich has been honored by his physician peers of the Essex South District Medical Society as the district’s 2013 Community Clinician of the Year. Board-certified in internal medicine, Soderland is medical director of the community groups division of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. A graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry with an M.D., he received a master’s in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health.


Gretchen Moreschi of Middleton and Joseph Musacchio of Hamilton were recently named to the board of directors of River House, a Beverly nonprofit that provides homeless individuals a path out of homelessness. Moreschi is trained in marketing consultancy and is co-founder and managing partner of Imbue Partners LLC. Musacchio, who has practiced law for more than 20 years, is a lawyer at Kreindler & Kreindler, Boston, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts and Western New England School of Law.
