Brian Fontaine has been named senior pet stylist at Salem Paw Spa, a pet boutique at 63 Wharf St. in Salem.


Nancy Hathaway has been promoted to branch officer at East Boston Savings Bank’s branch in Danvers. Hathaway joined the bank in 2011 as assistant branch officer when the bank opened its new branch in downtown Danvers. A Peabody resident, she has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salem State University and is active in the Wicked Running Club.


Meghan Burke of Marblehead has been named to the board of directors of the Boston-based nonprofit FUEL Education, which provides financial incentives and college access curriculum to low-income families. She is a public finance attorney who leads the education practice at the Mintz Levin law firm in Boston.


Bill and Joyce Cummings of the Cummings Foundation received the Edward H. Linde Public Service Award from NAIOP, a commercial real estate association in Massachusetts. They were also honored with the Irish International Immigrant Center’s Solas Award, which is given to leaders who are committed to working toward a society where people from all countries enjoy equal opportunities, protections and respect. Their Cummings Foundation has granted more than $20 million during the past two years to Greater Boston nonprofits, including about $2 million in Beverly and Salem.


Beauport Ambulance Service has been awarded the contract to provide the emergency ambulance service for the town of Hamilton. As part of the contract, Beauport will staff and garage an advanced life support ambulance out of the Hamilton Public Safety Building. Beauport serves metro Boston north, including Danvers, and has 24 vehicles and more than 70 employees.


North Shore Community Action Programs has relocated to 119 Rear Foster St., Building 13, in Peabody. The move consolidates the social service agency’s programs into a single location, streamlining operations internally while providing one-stop convenience for the 12,000 low-income individuals who use NSCAP’s antipoverty programs each year.
