Christopher Polak of Salem was appointed sales manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Lynnfield office. Previously he was sales manager of the Salem office for four years. Polak is a member of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and has served on the Salem Chamber of Commerce board of directors for the past two years.

Swampscott resident Sandy Sheckman has joined the North Shore Community Mediation Center’s mediator panel. Sheckman is former executive director of the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore and serves as an acting docent at the Peabody Essex Museum.
Mediators must complete 34 hours of training and 25 hours of apprenticeship before being considered for the mediator panel. The center is located in Beverly and provides alternative dispute resolution and training services.

Marblehead native and Beverly resident Lauren Michaud was named the new director of Skills+ Summer Study Skills Workshop at the Landmark School in Beverly. Michaud graduated from Marblehead High School in 2001 and Salem State College in 2005, and has a master’s degree from Simmons College in 2010. Skills+ is a program for middle and high school students at public and private schools who need to develop skills to apply across all academic subjects.

Tabor-Conway is a member of Business Networking International, and has a degree in business administration. The YMCA of Metro North has named the following new members to its board of directors: Deb DeVenne, senior vice president/team leader for People’s United Bank; Andy Freed, president of Virtual Inc.; Diana Kerry, director of the Public Policy Institute at North Shore Community College; Hong Net, Lynn city councilor and child support enforcement officer for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue; and Robert Schneider, chief operating officer of Lahey Clinic Medical Center North Shore. The YMCA of Metro North serves Peabody, Lynn, Nahant, Lynnfield, Stoneham, Saugus, Revere and Melrose.

Previously he worked in sales and project management at ProFence Co. in Wilmington. Previously he was senior facilities manager and oversaw the maintenance and engineering department. Oliveri serves as an assistant vice president and is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, personnel management, and overseeing the day-to-day operations. Prior to joining TD Bank, Oliveri was a store manager at Citizens Bank in Swampscott.

Karen Wilk of Manchester, a former special education administrator for the Beverly Public Schools, was elected vice president.

Milestones
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center has acquired Essex VitreoRetinal Services following the pending retirement Dr. William Stinson, who founded the practice, located on the Beverly Hospital campus. It will be renamed Lahey Retinal Specialists, Beverly and will be led by Dr. Jeffery Marx, who has been with Lahey Hospital & Medical Center since 1998, and Dr. Jeffery Chang, a Lahey Hospital & Medical Center ophthalmology specialist with a focus in vitreoretinal surgery.
