Mr. and Mrs. Darril King of Newburyport are delighted to announce the marriage of their son, Steven Matthew King, to Erin Marguerite Kennedy, on Sept. 2, 2007.

Erin is the daughter of Paul and Lucille Kennedy of Bennington, Vt.

Steven and Erin were married in the gardens of the Ipswich Hellenic Center, where a reception immediately followed.

Mrs. Amanda Hemp, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. The maid of honor was Jessica King, sister of the groom. Ryan King, brother of the groom and Ryan Wagner, best friend of the groom, served as best men. Flower girls included Kerrigan and Madilyn Hemp, nieces of the bride.

Steven graduated from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, N.H. and is employed at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport.

Erin is a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly and is currently employed at Office Interiors in Dover, N.H.

Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Amesbury.
