Mr. and Mrs. John F. Egan Jr.



John and Jean (Shea) F. Egan Jr., both Beverly natives, were wed at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Beverly on Jan. 24, 1947.

John was a manufacturing engineer for the United Shoe Machinery Corporation for over 30 years, while Jean was an employee for the Beverly National Bank for many years.

Mutual love and respect for each other, as well as keeping great senses of humor, are the secrets to their wonderful marriage.

The couple has five sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Linda of Medway, Dennis and Janet of Beverly, John and Dawn of Laconia, N.H., Joseph and Marie of Beverly and Christopher and Carrie of Medfield; as well as a daughter, Jean, wife of Kevin Belanger, of Danvers.

Mr. and Mrs. John Egan Jr. have 13 grandchildren, Lindsey, Alison, Daniel, John Patrick, Jacqueline, Ryan, Ashlee, Jessica, Courtney, Kate, Matt, Joclyn and Nicole.

A family celebration is planned.

  • Kimberly Schrock and Eric LaCroix

    Kimberly Ann Schrock and Eric Joseph LaCroix were united in marriage at two o'clock in the afternoon on September 3, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Hamilton. Reverend Elisabeth Smith officiated the ceremony, with Christopher Schrock, brother of the bride, reading the scripture. The bride wore a Mon Cheri wedding gown with crystal and pearl beading on tulle over satin. She carried a hand tied bouquet of white mini callas, roses, and freesia with white orchids. Balloons were raised at the end of the ceremony in honor of the couple's deceased loved ones. Kimberly is the daughter of Carol and Jerry Schrock of Hamilton and Eric is the son of Jean Argenbright of Saco, Maine and Brian LaCroix of Danvers. A reception followed the service at the Ipswich Country Club, with guests from eleven states attending.

    Ruth Danjou, formally of Salem, Massachusetts and Ludlow, Vermont, and now of Winter Springs, Florida celebrated her 100th birthday at Bianco's Mona Lisa Restaurant in Longwood, Florida on Saturday, November 12, 2011. It was given by her son Jeffrey Danjou and his wife Andrea with whom Ruth is now residing.

Charlie enjoys playing golf, dining among friends and loves to spoil his grandchildren.
