William and Gloria Moran of Salem are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel L. Moran, to James J. Retos, son of Deborah Retos of Salem and the late James W. Retos of Peabody.
Rachel is a graduate of Salem High School and Salem State College, where she received a B.S. degree in Accounting. She is employed as a certified public accountant at Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (formerly Tofias P.C.) in Cambridge.
James is a graduate of Salem High School and Salem State College, where he received a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. He is employed as a clinical case manager for the Essex County Juvenile Drug Court through CAB Health and Recovery in Salem.
A June 2009 wedding is planned at the Georgetown Country Club. The couple will honeymoon in St. Lucia.
