Rebecca Tarr and Patrick Thomas

Norman and Susan Tarr of Beverly, Massachusetts announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Marie, to Patrick E. Thomas, son of Janice and Jeffrey Wilcoxson of Ashley Falls, Massachusetts.

Miss Tarr is a 2006 graduate of Beverly High School and graduated summa cum laude in 2010 from the Commonwealth College at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a bachelor's degree in English. She currently is employed as the operations coordinator for Hollan Publishing in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Mr. Thomas graduated in 2006 from Mount Everett Regional School and obtained his B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst College of Engineering in 2011. He works as a software developer at Consilience Software in Watertown, Massachusetts.

The wedding is being planned for October 6, 2012 at The Elks of Bass Ridge in Gloucester, MA.
