Michael Boches' election as captain of three sports teams in his senior year is a testament to both his leadership and the respect he commands from his teammates and coaches. The story remains the same for Boches in the classroom, the Beverly High hallways, and the community.
A leader of the Panthers' varsity soccer, hockey, and lacrosse programs, Boches has also found time during his high school career to serve on the Student Senate, the high school clean-up Heads-Up Program, and as a member of the Assistant Principal Search Committee as a sophomore.
His work in the classroom was also admirable. He never received a grade lower than a 'B', and his grade-point average of 4.35 ranks him eighth in a class of 308.
"During my classes I have noticed that Michael is also admired by his peers," Beverly High mathematics and physics teacher Patricia Dube said. "Other students are pleased when Michael is placed in their group for cooperative learning activities. They admire his academic ability and are able to learn well from him."
