Find some good reads for a good cause today, as Harborlight Community Partners holds its Spring Book Sale at the First Baptist Church gym, 221 Cabot St. Beverly. Featuring more than 50,000 donated — not picked over — used books in all categories, the sale raises money for safe and affordable housing for low-income elders, working families and individuals with disabilities on the North Shore. Kids have a chance to learn about life on the farm at Wenham Museum's "Spring Forward" program. Starting at 10 a.m., children in preschool and older can learn about spring chores on the farm, explore the museum’s 17th-century herb garden and plant a seed to bring home for their own garden.
