---- — Time to prune
Spring is officially here, which means it’s time to prune the spring shrubs. A late-winter pruning workshop will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. to noon at The Trustees of Reservations’ Long Hill Garden, 572 Essex St., Beverly. During the hands-on workshop, gardeners will learn the best techniques for pruning their spring-blooming shrubs, including rhododendrons, azaleas and viburnums, and the confidence needed to keep a landscape looking its best year after year. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask any shrub and tree questions. The cost is $28 for Trustees members and $35 for nonmembers. Register online at www.thetrustees.org.
