“The photographer captures a scene with many elements. The textures found throughout the frame create an interesting visual pattern. The rocks and brush in the foreground contrast with the smoother rocks in the middle of the frame, while the rough texture found in the ocean contrasts with the smooth sky. The warm, late-afternoon light cascading across the rocks is complemented by the dark and light blues found in the ocean and sky. The photographer also does a nice job dividing the photograph using the rule of thirds.”
