Food and fun for a good cause

DANVERS — MassPay and the North Shore Cancer Center hosted the Fed Up With Cancer fundraiser on Wednesday, with all proceeds going to the North Shore Cancer Walk. The event, at the Danversport Yacht Club, included tasty samples from a variety of local restaurants, a silent auction and an Irish band.

Among local eateries participating were The American BBQ, Acapulcos, Casual Catering, Danversport Yacht Club, The Farm Bar and Grill, Howling Wolf Taqueria, Four 66 Pub and Grill, Toscana's Ristorante & Cafe, Victoria Station, and Goodie's Ice Cream.

  • North Shore religion news in brief The Gordon College Department of Political Science and Christians in Political Science will host the Christians in Political Science Conference (CPS) on Thursday, May 31, through Saturday, June 2, on the college's campus, 255 Grapevine Road, Wenham.
