Salem residents are invited to learn more about their councilor-at-large candidates in a forum tonight at 6:30 at the Moose Hall, 50 Grove St., Salem. Librarian and genealogist Connie Reik will present a free illustrated talk on federal documents from and about the Civil War tonight at 7 at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, 14 Union St., Hamilton. Attendees will learn about a broad spectrum of resources, some of which Reik used to uncover a story about one of her own ancestors.
