Teen robotics program
Want to build a robot, or better yet, a lobster robot? There’s a lecture for that, and it takes place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Swampscott Public Library, 61 Burrill St. Daniel Blustein, a graduate student at Northeastern University Marine Science Center Biomimetic Underwater Robot Lab, will talk about his work studying animals and trying to create robots similar to those creatures. For inspiration, Blustein will bring a lobster robot, a lamprey robot and, of course, a flying robot. Admission is free, and robotics fans and curious minds alike are welcome to attend. Call the library at 781-596-8867 for more information.
