ELECTRONICS RECYCLING. Hosted by Troops 6 and 2 of the Beverly Boy Scouts, Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Immanuel Church, 140 Bridge St., Beverly. Operation No Landfill helps raise money for the Beverly Boy Scouts. A nominal fee for recycling service applies. Materials collected are TV sets, computers, monitors, radios, microwaves, cellphones, batteries, exercise equipment, air conditioners and more. Products not accepted include refrigerators, large kitchen and laundry appliances, gas-powered equipment, car batteries, mercury products and fluorescent bulbs. ICE CREAM SOCIAL FOR COLLEEN RITZER MEMORIAL FUND. Saturday, March 29, noon to 4 p.m., Putnam Pantry, 225 Newbury St., Danvers. Putnam Pantry Candies, a homemade candy and ice cream store, will host an ice cream social to benefit the Colleen Ritzer Memorial Fund. One-hundred percent of the profits from the event go directly to the scholarship fund. In addition to the ice cream social, proceeds from the Putnam Pantry Danvers Strong chocolate coins will also be donated to the fund. www.putnampantry.com.
