Looking for some new reads for the summer? Check out the annual book sale, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Peabody Institute Library of Danvers, 15 Sylvan St., Danvers. The sale, which features gently used books, videos, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks, runs during regular library hours through July 12. All proceeds support various library and Friends of the Peabody Institute Library projects, as well as fund museum and attractions passes available for patrons to use. Join Beverly Mayor Mike Cahill and Commissioner of Public Services Mike Collins at a presentation on and discussion of the city's 2014 road paving plan and water/sewer work as well as an update on the Rantoul Street/Route 1A Reconstruction Project.
