This week’s dirt
Recycle and save! Bulbs that may have been forced include tulips, crocus, daffodils, but not the paper whites. Place in a cool, sunny window to allow the foliage to mature, then plant directly in the garden. Next fall, give them a feeding with bone meal or commercial bulb fertilizer. Some will survive and bloom again, and some won’t, but it is worth a try.
