Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor hosts a reception for the exhibit “Home Base: A Retrospective of Work by 2013 Holiday Pops Artist Pam Schalck.” Event includes unveiling of this year’s featured holiday pops acrylic and watercolor piece called “Starry Night — Marblehead,” by Marblehead artist Pamela Schalck. EYE TO EYE: ENCOUNTERS WITH WILDLIFE. On view in the atrium of Building One, Shetland Park, 27 Congress St., Salem. Photographs by Mary Baures, a Beverly psychotherapist, are displayed on five floors in Building One. Each floor is dedicated to a particular type of animal, starting with large cats on the main floor, moving up to elephants, primates, and then assorted species. Baures’ passion for wildlife photography began during her first trip to Africa where she was visiting a baby elephant she had adopted.
