Event includes silent auction featuring Red Sox items, home-baked cookies, baskets, framed photographs, grocery gift certificates and more. Eighth annual “All You Need is Love” benefit, 7 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, 28 Mugford St., Marblehead. An evening of Beatles covers performed by a variety of acoustic singer-songwriters, including Melody Makers, Jim Trick, Addy & Julia, Kerri Powers, Heather Styka, Barbara Cassidy Band, Kayla Ringelheim, and Scrambled Eggs. Proceeds will help send musicians into schools for workshops and concerts, and also support the church. $20 adults, $5 students and children, or $45 family package. Refreshments served. Luncheon and Flower Communion, 10 a.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, 101 Forest Ave., Swampscott. Service includes Flower Communion in honor of the departing interim minister, the Rev. Judy Smith-Valley. The 2013-2014 board of trustees will be installed. Annual Beach Service, 10 a.m., Fisherman’s Beach, Humphrey Street, Swampscott. Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn hosts an outdoor worship service on the beach, titled “Breaths,” which focuses on the meanings of breath in different world traditions; the interconnected nature of all life; and the need for stewardship of the environment.
