JAPANESE MANGA WORKSHOP. Friday, Nov. 9, 4 p.m., Boxford Town Library, 10 Elm St. Learn about the history of manga (Japanese comics) and how to illustrate one with guidance from illustrators Andy and Veronica Fish. STAR WARS SYMPOSIUM. Saturday, Nov. 10, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Swampscott Public Library, 61 Burrill St. “Star Wars” enthusiasts ages 5 and older are invited to this symposium, run by Peter Struzziero. Play Star Wars games set up on Xbox 360, show and tell Star Wars-related items, dress up like a Star Wars character, presentation and question-and-answer session with a Star Wars expert, Star Wars trivia.
