Pet of the Week

Jax has a huge heart, and he wants to share it with you. He is young and healthy and loves people. He loved his former people until they brought home a Great Dane puppy. His fear of the dog made life too stressful, and it was decided Jax should find a new home.

He is a handsome, white cat with dark gray patches. He can jump and is quite athletic. He is also playful and loves to chase things and to roll around on the floor while someone dangles something overhead. Jax also loves to be petted, but he comes with his own basket and panda pillow pet that he can snuggle in when you are busy. He is a very easy guy to have around.

He would prefer a low-stress, quiet house without canines, where he can relax and settle in. Jax likes eating a special diet, but otherwise has no specific needs (other than a lot of loving and patting). He will be a wonderful addition to any household.

To learn more about Jax or other adoptable cats and kittens, contact PAWS at 781-246-6111 or PAWSwakefield@yahoo.com. The adoption center at the Danvers PetSmart holds its usual adoption hours on Thursday and Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
