“The road in this photo is in your face. The edges of the road start from the two corners of the photo and converge at the hill in the distance. They are very strong directional design elements. The lead-in gives the photo great depth. Trees in the right middle ground pull the viewer’s eye away from the roadway, plus they break up the flat marshland. Various textures are captured in the grasses and rocks in this landscape. A cloudless blue sky complements the golden marsh grass.”
