M IS FOR MUSEUM: WARMTH OF THE FIRESIDE. Friday, Jan. 11, 10 a.m., Wenham Museum, 132 Main St. Discover how people kept warm in winter long ago, enjoy a story about winter on the farm and warm cocoa, and make a mitten craft with museum educators. LEARN ABOUT GUIDE DOGS. Friday, Jan. 11, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, Parish Hall, 101 Forest Ave., Swampscott. A representative from “Guiding Eyes,” an internationally accredited guide dog school, will be present. Evening starts with a short children’s story followed by information about the dogs. Dublin, a trained guide dog, will visit. Pizza, salad, drinks and cookies served.
