“RENT.” Friday, Feb. 1, and Saturday, Feb. 2, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 3, 2 p.m., at Salem High School auditorium, 77 Willson St. Salem High Drama Club presents the school edition of the Broadway musical. Show tells the story of a group of young musicians and artists living in New York City who struggle with their ideals and are faced with addiction, disease, isolation and poverty. $12/reserved seats, $10/general, $7/students and seniors. “FOCUS ON FEEDERS.” Mass Audubon’s annual winter bird count, set for Saturday, Feb. 2, and Sunday, Feb. 3, invites people to participate in a volunteer survey and list individual bird species and the greatest number of each seen at one time at their feeders and in their yards on Feb. 2 and 3. Record one count for each species seen, then submit the report form to Mass Audubon. Participants’ names will be entered in a drawing to win one of several prizes.
