As part of Salem State University's Earth Days Week, the college is presenting two free film screenings today, both in the MLK Room of Ellison Campus Center, 352 Lafayette St., Salem:
- First, see “Dirty Business” from 10:50 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The documentary offers a review of renewable alternatives in an age of climate change. Refreshments will be provided.
- Then, stick around to see "Bag It," from 12:15 to 2 p.m. The American documentary exposes the effects of plastic bags and other plastic consumer merchandise on land ecosystems, ocean environments, and the human body.

Members of the choirs at First Parish Church in Beverly, accompanied by soloists and orchestra, will present the Mozart Requiem at 8 p.m. at the church, at 225 Cabot St., Beverly. The performance will be directed by Robert Littlefield. Admission is free.
