FUR BALL. Friends of Beverly Animals will host the Fur Ball, its main fundraiser of the year, on Friday, Oct. 11, 7 to 11 p.m., at the Italian Community Center, 302 Rantoul St., Beverly. 25TH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN WITCH RIDE. Sunday, Oct. 13, 1 to 5 p.m., starts at Boston Harley-Davidson on Route 16 in Everett and ends at Shetland Park in Salem. Annual Muscular Dystrophy Association fundraiser by motorcycle enthusiasts from across the state. Event includes live music, food, vendors, entertainers and an awards ceremony. Event will also celebrate 25 years of participants, volunteers, sponsors and dealers who have helped raise more than $500,000 for MDA exclusively through this event. NSMT presents a VIP Casino Night in NSMT’s Backstage Bistro with a buffet dinner by Venetian Moon Ristorante, cash tables, blackjack, craps, roulette and wheels of fortune from 5 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a tribute to Barbara Streisand and Frank Sinatra at 8 p.m. to benefit North Shore Elder Services.
