Kids can learn what a magical experience reading can be from Ed the Wizard, who is offering two programs today on the North Shore. At 11 a.m., he will be at Topsfield Town Library, 1 S. Common St., Topsfield. Later, he'll be at Swampscott Public Library, 61 Burrill St., Swampscott, at 6:30 p.m. Ed the Wizard uses magic, comedy and suspense to weave together the importance of building and maintaining reading skills for all ages. Today's programs are supported in part by a grant from the Topsfield and Swampscott cultural councils respectively.
