Strap on your hiking boots for Middleton Stream Team's annual winter Ice Hike from 1 to 4 p.m. Hikers will explore the habitats of beavers, birds and other wildlife on the upland banks of impoundments and on safe frozen surfaces. Adventurers should meet at 12:50 p.m. at the unpaved section of North Liberty Street in Middleton, which is about a mile north of where it crosses with Boston Brook at Prichard’s Pond. The hike will start and end at the same location. Cameras, warm clothing, hats and warm, non-slip foot gear are encouraged.
