Marblehead

Cadet Kevin Bennett, son of Cindy and Steve Bennett, has received Distinguished Cadet Academic Recognition for the spring semester at the U.S. Military Academy. Bennett graduated from Marblehead High School in 2007 and will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the Army upon graduation at West Point.

Catherine McGrath Mitchell was awarded the Lydia Bell Award for Initiative and Leadership in Public Service from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Taylor Lawrence was recently awarded a four-year college scholarship by The Fish House Foundation. Lawrence is a recent graduate of Masconomet Regional High School and will attend the University of New Hampshire in the fall.

Anna Georges was named to the dean's list in the spring semester at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. Georges is a freshman majoring in liberal arts.

Aldo Nico was the winner of Windrush Farm's 50/50 cash raffle sponsored by Boxford House of Pizza. The winning ticket, worth $1,450, was chosen at Windrush Farm's Family Festival on Saturday, June 6. As a fundraiser, $5 raffle tickets were sold to the community by friends of Windrush.

Daniel Owen Comite was named to the dean's list for the winter quarter at Savannah College of Art and Design.
