The Adult Education Committee presents screening of story about Bruno, the 8-year-old son of the commandant at a concentration camp during World War II, whose forbidden friendship with a Jewish boy on the other side of the camp fence has startling and unexpected consequences. Learn about guide dogs, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, Parish Hall, 101 Forest Ave., Swampscott. A representative from “Guiding Eyes,” an internationally accredited guide dog school, will be present. Evening starts with a short children’s story, followed by information about the dogs. Dublin, a trained guide dog, will visit. Pizza, salad, drinks and cookies served.
